| Adult Wiffle Ball 2026 **Advance Signup Required** | |
| Location: | White Pine Knoll Pocket Park |
| Time: | 9:30am |
| Description: | Hello Villagers,
The 2026 Adult Wiffle Ball tournament is on! Rules and team draws will be the same as last year.
A $5 entry fee needs to be paid at the time of signing up (this ensures your commitment to playing and helps pay for things too many to list). You can venmo Jim (@James-Kasparian) if thats easiest for you and please include the name of the player/s...code 3392. Teams will be drawn Saturday night at the lodge around 9pm.
---
The format for the tournament is the same as every year. Participants should be 14 years old and above. If you cannot make a possible night game playoff or championship DO NOT SIGN UP! It's not fair to your team. If an injury happens, we will assign a player to your team. Jimmy Kasparian is coordinating all players for the games.
Players should meet at the field by 9:30 AM Sunday morning.
Play will be all morning, break for lunch (traditional hot dog bar and potluck) around 12:00 then games will resume around 2:00. We will break again around 4:00 and resume at 6:30/7:00 pm for semi-finals and championship game.
Volunteers needed for:
Friday night: Putting up ladders with lights
Sunday: Umpires
Sunday: Setting up and serving at the hot dog bar for lunch. Lunch will be a hot dog bar with salads for participants and the peanut gallery of fans. If you plan to join us for lunch, please RSVP before Friday so we don't buy too many hot dogs. Food donations to make the hot dog bar complete, single-serve snacks and water for the players and crowd are encouraged! See the Potluck signup for what we need. An RSVP for lunch DOES NOT sign you up to play. It just helps us plan for you and your family to have lunch.
All snacks and non-alcoholic beverages should be delivered to the White Pine Knoll Pocket Park by 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. If you are bringing a cooler filled with ice, please bring it to the pocket park at 9:00 a.m. as well. Hot dog bar snack donations and desserts can be delivered between 11:00-11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at/around 12:00 pm when games pause.
All details about the hot dog bar are being coordinated by Leah Cataldo and Dan Strollo, so if you have questions, reach out to Leah directly at leahcataldo@hotmail.com or 781-820-1131. Please use Punchbowl to volunteer and let us know your name and general availability. We will email out an initial schedule to all volunteers and try to fill all the slots as the date approaches.
This event is not possible without all the many volunteers who make it happen! Hats off to everyone who makes Summer Village the best it can be! We look forward to seeing you all at this Labor Day weekend traditional event!!!
