By popular demand, the annual Summer Village Kentucky Derby Pool is back for 2024.

We will be selling random horse numbers for $10 each and the payoffs will be as follows:

 

·         Win: 50% of pool

·         Place: 30% of pool

·         Show: 20% of pool

 

Note that we will round the winning amounts to $10 increments for ease of payouts. 

 

The number of entries is limited to about 100-120 depending on the final number of horses racing, so please get your entries early.

 

Weather permitting, you can draw entries during the afternoon at Shanghai Garden (the yard between 23 and 25 Fox Run) or catch Dave Casali at the lodge after 5:00. We will stop selling entries at 6:30 or when we run out of them.

 

The lodge will have some Derby inspired drink specials.

Come join the fun on the basketball court. Knockout is a game where you try to score a foul shot before the person ahead of you scores. Fun for all ages!

Every Tuesday Night at The Lodge. Doors open at 6:30 PM. All are encouraged to join in & to bring a snack to share.

Want to play in the Teen Poker tournament that starts at 8pm, but you want to brush up on the rules and strategy? Join us at 7pm for a quick tutorial before the "main event".

This event is for ages 13-19 only. Bring $5 and your poker skills. If you don't know how to play, come at 7:00 for a tutorial. 

Golf Rides will be onsite, May 25th between 9am-12pm with 2 of their modelsfor those interested in buying, selling or test driving them.  They will be setup in the grassy area (Flag Pole)across from the Post Office and before Whispering Pines.

THE TURTLES ARE BACK! Come on by the pavilion to make some new friends of the webbed foot and shelled variety. 

New to Summer Village? Here is a chance to meet your neighbors and learn about some of the activities at Summer Village. Some light snacks will be provided and the bar will be open if you would like to purchase an adult beverage. Someone will also be on hand to assist with navigating the Summer Village at the Pond Owners Website.

Join us for our first Summer Village Gives Back fundraising event of the year. Be transported to the rolling hills of Tuscany for our first wine and cheese tasting this season. We'll taste red and white wines from Italy and European cheeses! Our volunteer sommelier, Jason, will guide us through the flight as we discover the region’s tastes, scents, and terroir. We'll also have some trivia and door prizes. We'll taste red and white wines from Italy and European cheeses!, and all proceeds will go to support the Summer Village Cancer Event and Lowell General Hospital. This event has limited seating, so email Lorrie chiappetta to reserve your spot. Walk-ins will admitted if space is available. 

Bring a candy bar and play some bingo. It’s as simple as that!

Come make yourself an ice cream sundae with all the toppings! *there will be toppings that are not allergy friendly (I.e. peanut butter, Reese’s pieces), so if you have an allergy, please come 5 minutes early so that we can serve you first to ensure there’s no cross contamination.
