Conservation Volunteer Session

Invasive plant species spread aggressively and crowd out native plant species, even killing mature trees. Here in Summer Village, we are seeing Bittersweet, Multiflora Rose, Knotweed, and Buckthorn spreading. This Winter, SV Conservation Committee was granted DEP (334-1822) project approval from the Westford Conservation Committee to move forward with containing the spread. This allows us to work diligently and carefully in our sensitive watershed areas to contain the spread.
We are seeking volunteers to work alongside the SV Conservation Committee to help identify and remove invasive species. This is also a great opportunity to learn how to stop the spread of invasive species.
Water Balloon Dodgeball

Come join us in the Pavilion, bring something to drink and make an American Flag Clothespin Craft. Just in time for the 4th of July! This event is being paid for by the rec committee and space is limited to 25 participants so if you can't attend, please make sure you take your name off the list in a timely fashion. Limit one wreath per cottage, but anyone can come drink and hang out! Please include your cottage address in the signup.
