Adult Wiffle Ball Tournament
Sunday, September 1st, 2024, 9:30am at White Pine Knoll Pocket Park
Rules and team draws will be the same as last year. Teams will be drawn Saturday night at the lodge around 9pm. To sign up, text Jim Kasperian at 617-388-3392 before Saturday night. Each entrant should venmo $5 to Jim (@James-Kasparian) before the team draw, and include the players' name (last 4 code 3392).

The format is the same as every year. 14 years old and above. We plan to have lights this year. If you cannot make a possible night game playoff or championship,  do not sign up! This is not fair to your team. If an injury happens, we will assign a player to your team. A few rule changes will be presented Sunday morning. Please meet at the field by 9:30 AM Sunday morning. Choose a team captain. This person is responsible for correspondence with the rules committee and reporting scores. We cannot have 5 people charging the table about some infraction. We expect a big turnout again this year so please sign up in time so we do not hold up the process. A $5 entry fee needs to be paid at the time of signing up (this ensures your commitment to playing and helps pay for things too many to list).

Play will be all morning, break for lunch around 12:30/1:00. Games resume around 2. We will break around 4 (or after we chew into the playoff brackets a little). Play will resume at 6:30/7pm for semi-finals and championship game.

AGAIN, before you sign up be sure you or your guest will be able to play in the possible championship if you make it through!

Oktoberfest
Saturday, September 28th, 2024, 2pm to 6pm at Waterview Pocket Park
Please join us for the return of SV annual Oktoberfest Craft Beer Tasting, which will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 2-6pm in the Waterview Pocket Park.

We ask those interested to bring some craft beer to share with the group. A 4-pack of 16-oz cans or growler fills from any local breweries, specialty bomber bottles and homebrews are great choices. Please avoid the "big brands". For extra credit, you can visit TreeHouse in Tewksbury, Trillium in Boston or the Alchemist in Vermont for legendary status. We love food too, so please bring a finger food appetizer to pass that's easy to eat -- and if it's a German inspired wienerschnitzel or pretzel, all the better. We ask that you please use the Pavilion or beach restrooms during the event.

Rain location will be the Pavilion. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Any questions, please email Jason Haviland at jason.haviland@gmail.com
